What could a gps be implanted in, in the future?

I have a project for school, to think of something to put a gps in, something that hasn't been done yet. And explain why it would be useful in the future.

*It cant be a human, because that's already been done.|||On your dog and cat, so you'll know where they are.

It has to be a GPS with a transmitter.

GPSs have receivers, adding a transmitter to them, it will send positioning info to a receiver you'll have at home.|||our brain|||how about a gps implanted in a pet dog, to help you walk it easier?|||well at the moment GPS devices are pretty big to actually be implanted into people not to mention how would you charge the battery if it was in someones brain. I recently saw an article that they put a gps unit into a shoe for people with Alzheimer's. From my experience the smallest device you can get is a about the size of a pager and the battery life is about 2 days before it has to be charged. right now people are putting them in cars ATM's Boatsmotorcycless. bank bags. in the future I can see them planted more onchildrenn for the over protective parent. If they get smaller and moreadvancedd anything I suppose. I had a guy call me the other day and wanted to put one on hisroommatess keysbecausee he kept loosing them. On a personal note I'd like to see them placed more on animals I think that's coolmaybee more birdscausee they travel the most. sorry so long hopefully this helps you out.
