Can a company use a gps system on a company vehicle without the driver knowing?

Company decided to give a vehicle (not really necessary to begin with) and when asked if they were tracking via gps system they said no. Is there laws or rules for using a gps system without knowledge? in PA.|||Yes they can but why should they hide the fact? If you are using their vehicle on company business they should be forthright about their use of tracking devices and you should always assume you are being tracked.|||if its their vehicle used in your conducting business for that company, yes, they absolutely can. monitoring employees has been the procedure for many years, especially in this day and age. some insurance company's may insist on it.|||No, it's their vehicle. It's like a company monitoring the Internet usage of their employees.|||If the company owns the car and you use the car for work, then yes.|||if the vehicle belongs to the company they can do what they wish....|||If its their vehicle, yes they can.
