Can you attach a gps chip to your cell phone?

Are there any physicall chips that you can attach to a cell phone and then live of their battery and antenna and send tha location of the cell phone to an account or something that you can access. (like those gps anti theft devices for cars and bikes but just a chip for your cell phone that isn't gps enabled). If there is where can you buy them from?|||No.

GPS needs an antenna designed to pick up GPS signals and then software on the phone to know how to talk to the GPS chip. It's not something that can just be bolted on, it needs to be designed in from the start.|||If you wan to track EVERY Move Your Partner, Employee or Child is Making, I can advice you a very popular Cell-Phone Monitoring Technology鈥?!
